My goal is to get at least three positions on the front page of Google for the term “local business articles”.
This is the first part of a diary of what I have been doing to acheive this…

Wrote and posted blog post called 5 Steps to Successful Keyword Research for Local Business Articles.
Submitted blog post to social bookmarking sites using SocialBot and also submitted RSS feed of Ghostwriter Anon site to several RSS feeders using RSSBot. I also used http://www.pingomatic.com and pinged the blog post above.
Did a search on Google and the actual blog post was on page 3 of Google and when I did a search for local business articles in inverted commas (”local business articles”), we were on the front page. I wondered is this a good omen. Unfortunately I can’t prove those results, as I forgot to do a screenshot.

Next I did a search for local business articles in inverted commas and we have two entries on first page.
No. 5 is Newsvine link and No.9 is GhostwriterAnon tag for local business articles.
Here is screenshot:
That’s not a bad Google result for some simple actions, which did not take much time at all.
But’s that not the end. I have lots more tricks and tips to try to dominate the Google front page for the term “local business articles”.
This series of blog articles should help a little. This one will be pinged for sure.
Next part coming very soon – stay tuned.
